The palette is borrowed from the landscape: white plaster, sand, rust, and cognac leather, with warm wood carrying the weight. The sofa sits low and wide in ivory canvas; a chunky wood table holds a rounded stone bowl and a bleached-wood tray; a leather sling chair adds a line of saddle color. Textiles arrive as woven geometrics in rust and sand, never fussy. Cacti and agave stand in unglazed clay pots as the only greenery, and they are enough. Every surface is matte and touchable. The room feels open, warm, and unhurried, the way a house does when the afternoon sun is on the plaster and nobody is in a rush.
